Development of site plan including a riverwalk, employee recreation area and plantings for new parking area related to the rehabilitated light-industrial facility. Features of the project include a new bike/foot path winding along edge of site through native plantings, natural grass areas, with new seating enhancing views to river. Parking lot also features bio-swales for capture and filtering of storm water run-off. The facility is located in a TIF district and the design fulfills special requirements of the City of Chicago landscape ordinance and TIF district.
